On this Tour 3-day Marrakesh to Fes Desert tour, Merzouga Desert, First, we will take you up from your hotel/riad/bus station on this day and begin our adventure from Marrakech to Dades Gorges. Second, we’ll go over the Tizi-n-Tichka Atlas pass, with far-reaching vistas of the mountains, to Telouet, a typical High Atlas Berber settlement, and on to Ait Benhaddou, a beautiful fortified village and UNESCO World Heritage Site (Ksour). Finally, we’ll stop for lunch at Ait Benhaddou or Ouarzazate before continuing to Dades Valley, where we’ll spend the night in a riad/hotel
On the second morning of this Tour 3 days from Marrakech to the Fes Desert of Merzouga, to begin with, we’ll travel from DADES to Toudra Gorges, Tenghir, after breakfast. Furthermore, Berber communities are interspersed along the path to the Sahara desert of Merzouga.
We’ll proceed via Tinjdad, Jorf, and Erfoud, feeling the beginning of the Desert oasis of Tafilalet, before continuing to Merzouga, where you will saddle your camel, supervised by an expert Camel rider to investigate the enigmatic Erg-Chebbi dunes. Here, you will spend your first night in a typical Berber nomad tent or, if you’d choose, under the stars, after you see the sunset.
