On the 1st day of our 3 days Sahara desert tour from Marrakech to Merzouga, We will meet you at your hotel/riad/bus station and begin our adventure from Marrakech to Dades Gorges. Through the Tizi-n-Tichka Atlas pass, with panoramic mountain views, to Telouet, a typical High Atlas Berber hamlet, and on to Ait Benhaddou, a lovely walled village and UNESCO World Heritage Site (Ksour). Next, we’ll stop for lunch at Ait Benhaddou or Ouarzazate before continuing to Dades Valley, where we’ll spend the night in a riad/hotel.
To begin with, we’ll travel from DADES to Toudra gorges, Tenghir, after breakfast. Furthermore, Berber communities are interspersed along the path to the Sahara desert of Merzouga. We’ll proceed via Tinjdad, Jorf, and Erfoud, feeling the beginning of the Desert oasis of Tafilalet, before continuing to Merzouga, you will saddle your camel, supervised by an expert Camel rider to investigate the enigmatic Erg-Chebbi sand sea. Here, you will spend your first night in a typical Berber nomad tent or, if you’d choose, under the stars.
Your camel guide will then wake you up early the next morning to watch what might be the finest dawn of your life. Yet, you get to catch it well. After that, ride camels back to the hotel for breakfast and a shower. Then start our journey to Ouarzazate through the Berber villages Rissani, Alnif, and N’koube we arrive at Ouarzazate we will visit the majestic Atlas Mountains. Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the highest road pass in Morocco. Tizi n Tichka is 2260m high offering impressive views of valleys, and mountains.
